Please read the following information if you’re experiencing graphics issues with ROBLOX.
Common issues that indicate a graphics problem
Why it Happens
What to Do
Try the following, one step at a time. After each step, see if the problem is still there. If it is, keep going.
Reset ROBLOX Graphics
This is only appropriate if you can actually start ROBLOX without crashing
1. Open ROBLOX Studio
2. Open the Tools menu, and click on Settings
3. Click OK to proceed
4. Click the "Reset All Settings" button, located at the lower-left of the pop-up window.
Test Your DirectX Package
If you have Windows XP Service Pack 2 or Windows Vista or Windows 7, you probably have DirectX 9 or a later version. Just in case, do the following:
1. Start > Run > dxdiag
2. Review your "DirectX Version" , located at the bottom of System Information, to ensure it is DirectX 9 or later
Please also open the "Display" (or "Display 1") tab. In this tab, there are three lines in "DirectX Features" box: DirectDraw Acceleration, Direct3D Acceleration and AGP Texture Acceleration. Confirm that all 3 are enabled. If they are not, then please do the following:
a. Open Display Settings by clicking the Start button, click on Control Panel
b. Click on Appearance and Personalization and click Personalization
c. Now click Display Settings.
d. Click Display Settings, and then click Advanced Settings.
e. Click the Troubleshoot tab, and then click Change Settings.
f. If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
g. Move the Hardware Acceleration slider to Full.
Upgrade DirectX if Necessary
If you don’t have the latest version of DirectX, then you can try upgrading directly. First, if you have Windows XP, update to Service Pack 2 or later. This is a good idea anyway. If you still don’t have DirectX 9 or later, update that from the website:

Lower Your Display's Color Quality
It's possible your graphics card can't support 3D rendering at the color quality you use for normal desktop operation. You can try lowering the bit depth to 16 bits, to see if that helps.
Under Windows XP:
1. Right click on the desktop, and click "Properties"
2. Go to the "Settings" tab
3. Set your "Color quality" to "Medium (16 bit)"
If you are running Windows Vista or 7 successfully on your machine, this is unlikely to be your problem.
Upgrade Your Graphics Card Driver
If you don’t already know, first check what kind of video card you have:

Please visit the support page provided by the manufacturer of your graphics card, and download the latest driver for your particular model.

If your type of graphics card is not listed above, please try doing a Google search for the manufacturer’s website.
